Bus

The Can Tho bus station is around a kilometre out of town on the corner of Nguyen Trai and Tran Phu. Due to its central location in the Delta and high traveller traffic, it’s very easy to get in and out of Can Tho with buses running practically very regularly. The journey to HCMC takes three to four hours. Phuong Tran, Mai Linh and Thanh Buoi are the main bus companies that operate to and from Can Tho. You can visit Indochina travel Vietnam to get more information

If you are travelling from Ho Chi Minh City, every bus company will transfer you from your guesthouse or hotel to Mien Tay bus station in a minibus. From there, you will be directed to a larger bus, which will usually depart each half hour. Most bus companies make a 30-minute stop midway through the trip. Thanh Buoi only takes a 10-minute stop.
